Hydropneumatic Towed Disc Harrow: RAPID-F Orchard Model

This hydropneumatic towed disc harrow is suitable for cultivating any type of soil (loose, medium or heavy) in orchards.

Designed for shallow tillage, the RAPID-F Orchard offers various adjustments to adapt to light soils. This innovative machine performs multiple operations simultaneously. Its unique structure comprises two rows of discs angled in opposite directions, enabling soil cultivation in a single pass. This design guarantees straight machine travel and significantly reduces time and fuel costs.

The RAPID-F Orchard can perform several operations at once, including shredding, mixing, fracturing, levelling and consolidation. Thanks to the independent operation of each working module, it can work across all types of crop residues.

Thanks to its independent modules with hydropneumatic no-stop safety and fixed bushings, this machine ensures high penetration performance and prevents lateral movement. Penetration capability in any condition is guaranteed and the risk of clogging is drastically reduced, even in the presence of large amounts of residue (such as corn, wheat, or manure).

Stubble cultivation is an important step after harvesting, as it helps to manage weeds effectively and incorporate plant residues into the soil. The RAPID-F cultivator works at a shallow depth of between 3 and 10 cm to ensure homogeneous incorporation of residues and accelerate their decomposition in the soil. However, shallow tillage after harvest can encourage the germination of weed seeds and the regrowth of the previous crop.
