The SILVER model hydropneumatic disc cultivator is suitable for cultivating all types of soil (loose, medium, heavy, and stony), as well as for green manure operations and stubble incorporation. The Silver cultivator is particularly well-suited for working in extreme soil conditions, including situations where the usable surface layer is as shallow as 10 cm, beneath which lies an impenetrable layer of rock. The SILVER is an unmatched machine for working in rocky and gravel-rich soils. SILVER cultivators require very low traction force, which translates into fuel savings, and can be optimally adapted to different tractors. Customers can choose between in-furrow, out-of-furrow, or combination configurations. The machine's 66 cm diameter discs are connected to the main frame via independent arms equipped with a hydropneumatic no-stop system. This allows the working units to quickly return to their working position after encountering an obstacle. This design ensures maximum contact with the underlying rock layer, working the entire usable soil depth without damaging the discs. When encountering impenetrable material, the discs lift independently. The maximum working depth is adjustable via hydraulic pressure regulation and can reach up to 25 cm. Di Raimondo offers a wide range of models from 7 to 15 discs, all with hydraulic working width adjustment, ranging from just over one meter to 4.27 m in the 18-disc SILVER model. Required tractor power is less than 100 HP for the 7-disc model and approximately 250 HP for the 15-disc version. Two depth-control wheels, positioned at the front parallel to the direction of travel, maintain the cultivator in the correct position and ensure perfectly straight tractor movement, both in-furrow and out-of-furrow. These are also hydraulically adjustable to vary steering correction according to soil hardness. Working speeds should be adjusted based on encountered obstacles, with optimal conditions allowing speeds exceeding 8 km/h in stone-free soils with adequate working depth.
