The SILVER model hydropneumatic disc cultivator is suitable for all soil types, including loose, medium and heavy soils, as well as stony soils. It is also ideal for green manure incorporation and stubble management.

The Silver cultivator is particularly effective in challenging soil conditions, such as shallow soils where the workable layer is less than 10 cm deep and sits above an impenetrable rock layer. The Silver cultivator excels in rocky and gravel-rich soils, requiring minimal traction force and resulting in significant fuel savings. It is also compatible with various tractors. It is available in three configurations: in-furrow, out-of-furrow or both.

The machine features 66 cm diameter discs that are mounted to the main frame via independent arms with a hydropneumatic no-stop system. This enables the discs to swiftly return to their working position after overcoming obstacles, ensuring consistent contact with the underlying rock layer while safeguarding the discs from damage. When impenetrable terrain is encountered, the discs lift independently.

The maximum working depth can be hydraulically adjusted up to 25 cm. Di Raimondo offers a range of models with between 7 and 15 discs, all of which have hydraulic working width adjustment. Working widths range from just over one metre to 4.27 metres for the 18-disc SILVER model. The power requirements are under 100 HP for the 7-disc model and approximately 250 HP for the 15-disc model.

Two depth-control wheels positioned at the front, running parallel to the direction of travel, ensure that the cultivator remains correctly aligned. This enables perfectly straight movement of the tractor, both in-furrow and out-of-furrow.
