The SILVER model hydropneumatic disc cultivator is designed for all soil types (loose, medium, heavy, and stony), as well as for green manure incorporation and stubble management. The Silver cultivator is particularly effective in extreme soil conditions, including shallow soils where the workable layer is less than 10 cm deep, overlying an impenetrable rock layer. The SILVER excels in rocky and gravel-rich soils, requiring minimal traction force—resulting in significant fuel savings—and offering compatibility with various tractors. It is available in three configurations: in-furrow, out-of-furrow, or a combination of both. The machine features 66 cm diameter discs mounted to the main frame via independent arms with a hydropneumatic no-stop system. This allows the discs to quickly return to their working position after overcoming obstacles, ensuring full contact with the underlying rock layer while protecting the discs from damage. When encountering impenetrable terrain, the discs lift independently. The maximum working depth is hydraulically adjustable up to 25 cm. Di Raimondo offers a range of models from 7 to 15 discs, all with hydraulic working width adjustment. The working width ranges from just over one meter to 4.27 m in the 18-disc SILVER model. Power requirements are under 100 HP for the 7-disc model and approximately 250 HP for the 15-disc model. Two depth-control wheels, positioned at the front parallel to the direction of travel, ensure the cultivator remains correctly aligned and enable perfectly straight tractor movement, both in-furrow and out-of-furrow.
